AINZ, TSWAI, TRAI

AINZ, TSWAI, and TRAI are the first in an ongoing series of homemade lemonade syrups. These are mixed in the right proportions with sparkling water to create a delicious and natural lemonade. There are now three additional flavors, though they have not yet been added to the portfolio as the recipes are still being refined. The name of the syrups is a play on words in German and simply refers to a numbering system from one to six.

AINZ is my interpretation of Spezi, or Colamix, which is popular throughout Germany, but is made exclusively from natural ingredients. The ingredient list for AINZ is extensive and carefully balanced. The original flavor is nearly impossible to replicate without artificial flavors, but the use of all-natural spices allows for a significantly richer taste experience.

TSWAI is intended as an alternative to the well-known Fanta Orange, but uses real organic clementines instead of artificial orange flavoring. Because the whole fruit (including the peel) is used, the finished lemonade is not only pleasantly sweet but also has an interesting and refined bitterness.

TRAI is a zesty, refreshing lime syrup, rounded out with the herbal notes of fresh basil. The resulting flavor is not only excellent as a soft drink but also pairs perfectly as a flavor enhancer in various alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.

The other three flavors will not be revealed here just yet and will only be added to the portfolio once the recipes have been fully developed.
