INSIDE
INSIDE is an internal employee magazine for Haimer GmbH.
It was first launched in 2018 as a four-page publication to share news about company weddings, new arrivals, employees celebrating anniversaries, and those approaching retirement. Over the years, the magazine’s length has steadily increased with each issue, so that today INSIDE has 32 pages. In 2022, I designed what would be my final issue, and the project was subsequently taken over by a colleague.
In addition to the informative pages about the staff, the magazine now includes further reports, such as excursions to Oktoberfest, recaps of past major trade shows, information on sponsorship partners, and general company news. It also features introductions to new international hires and a two-page spread on trainees.
The cover image was created in the traditional way using photography and retouching, as AI wasn’t really suitable for that yet. Much of the imagery is my own, as are the entire layout and design. If you look closely, you can spot one of my wedding photos on page 3. To protect privacy, I’ve blurred out the names and won’t be showcasing every single page.
